PACIFIC SAILORS
Maritime Forces Pacific (MARPAC) is responsible for fleet training and operational readiness of the Royal Canadian Navy in the Pacific Ocean. It is led by the commander of Maritime Forces Pacific, who also serves as the commander of Joint Task Force Pacific. The headquarters of MARPAC is located at CFB Esquimalt in British Columbia. They oversee operations, exercises, and readiness of warships, auxiliaries, and support vessels in the Pacific region.
