ENERGY CENTRE
The Canadian Energy Centre, also known as the "Energy War Room," was created as a response to campaigns against Canada's oil and gas industry. Mandated to promote Alberta's energy sector and counter misinformation, the CEC faced controversies including accusations of plagiarism and criticism for its campaigns. Despite efforts to advocate for the industry, the CEC was eventually shut down and merged into Alberta Intergovernmental Relations in June 2024.
