CONFECTION 2001 INC
Confection 2001 inc. was an established clothing factory in Farnham, operating for more than thirty years under the same ownership for about 20 years. The factory employed around ten workers, specializing in the production of pants for Tristan boutiques. Over the years, they had secured significant contracts with the Canadian government, including for the Department of National Defence. During the pandemic, they fulfilled orders for healthcare protective equipment, but with the government not renewing these contracts, the company faced a decline in orders leading to its closure.
