The Association of Science & Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta offers the Professional Technologist (P.Tech.) registration for individuals who meet the eligibility requirements. P.Tech. members have the right to practice engineering or geoscience independently within a defined scope of practice, sign and stamp their own work, and adhere to established codes and standards. The application process involves demonstrating relevant work experience and completing the ASET Certification Exam.
